Morris County Company Earns Recognized VA Designation

Randolph, NJ • December 14, 2017 – The U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs, Center for Verification and Evaluation announced today that NJ Pest, LLC has been verified as a Service-Disable Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). NJ Pest has gone through an extensive verification process to achieve SDVOSB status. VA verified firms may display the trademark protected SDVOSB logo. Use of the logo communicates the firm has undergone a comprehensive review to validate its status as an eligible Veteran-owned and controlled firm.

status.  First and foremost, an applicant business must be at least 51% unconditionally and directly owned by one or more veterans. Applicants are required to provide evidence, by way of example tax and corporate documents, showing that the veteran business owner is entitled to receive at least 51% of the company’s annual profit distribution.  Unconditional ownership means that the veteran business owner’s ownership cannot be subject to any conditions precedent, subsequent or voting restrictions that would cause ownership to pass to another, other than after death or incapacity.
